Prairie Rose Public Schools would like to congratulate Scott Raible on his appointment to the position of Principal of Burdett School. Burdett School is one of two Low German Speaking Mennonite (LGSM) K-9 schools in Prairie Rose with a current enrollment of 133 students.

With 14 years of teaching experience, Scott began his career working as a temporary teacher at McCoy High School before soon finding a home with Prairie Rose in 2010 as a teacher at Eagle Butte High School. In his first year of teaching, he received the Edwin Parr nomination for the school division as an outstanding first-year teacher. Over the years, Scott has taught primarily English Language Arts and Social Studies courses, but also enjoys teaching drama, and religious studies. In addition to a Bachelor of Education from the University of Lethbridge, Scott also holds a Bachelor of Theology. Last year, he completed his Master of Education in Educational Leadership at the University of Gonzaga.

“I am extremely thankful for the opportunity to work alongside the excellent team at Burdett School. The school is known for providing a high quality education to Mennonite students that encompasses a mutual respect for religion and culture. The LGSM community is very active at the school and I look forward to building relationships with families and school Schultz’s as we continue to explore opportunities for students to grow and prepare for their futures.”

Scott will officially assume the role of principal at Burdett School at the start of the 2024-2025 school year.
