All students attending Calgary Islamic School, Akram Jomaa Campus (AJ) must apply through an admission process. Please note the following information related to school admissions, fees and registration.

To get started, complete the correct application form below. You will need to complete one form for each student you are making an application for:

➡️ AJ: KG Student Application (now closed for the 2025-2026 year)

➡️ AJ: Grades 1-12 Application (now closed for the 2025-2026 year)

Registration For New CIS Students
Note: For the 2025-2026 school year, all returning and approved AJ students are considered NEW due to the transition from Palliser School Division to Prairie Rose Public Schools. 

Prairie Rose Public School uses PowerSchool Enrollment for all student registration. Please read the information below carefully before creating an account and starting the form completion process. Only those students who have been approved by the school are eligible to complete the forms.

  1. It is very important that we have the new student forms completed for all OBK and AJ students who are attending school this fall as soon as possible. 
  2. With the transition from Palliser to Prairie Rose, all student and family information will need to be re-collected in order to create accounts, set timetables, allocate services for students, etc. 
  3. There are no paper forms. Families can create one main School Enrollment account to complete the forms for each child. 
  4. The registration form will ask for proof of identification/citizenship and any custody arrangements for the student. Have these documents ready for upload when you complete the form. It is preferred that these documents are added upon submission, but can also be provided to the school later.

Helpful Hints

✔️ If you are a parent of an AJ student who enrolled with Coulee Collegiate or South Alberta High School this spring for summer school (Chrome Academy), you will already have created a PowerSchool Enrollment account. Use the same email and password to complete the form for New Calgary Islamic School Registration form. Do not make a second account to complete the registration.

✔️ If you are registering more than one student, the form will provide you with a link to complete a second form at the end of the first registration.
